OLDSKOOL 1998/2000
This typeface is called SILVERTAPE. It's loosely based on 1950's windowlettering. It's also the first working typeface I ever designed. I can remember that the pilot of this was done with CORELDRAW on a 468 Windows (3.11!!)-machine. The face was used to make up the IXOPUSADA logo.
IXOPUSADA was a small culty-arty-collective of several students. I founded IXOPUSADA together with Floor in 1998 and we used the name to sign our work up untill 2004. Floor still uses the name, so I can't tell you what IXOPUSADA stands for....it's still a secret!
I promise I'll tell you more about it in the future!
